Kimberley Sandstone Products supplies B Grade Quad Sawn Sandstone Blocks direct from our Australian quarry. These blocks are a practical option for retaining walls, landscaping, garden walls and other residential, commercial and rural projects.
Our B Grade blocks are cut using the same Quad Saw process, producing blocks with four sawn sides and consistent approximate dimensions for easier placement and installation.
B Grade sandstone has greater natural variation than our B Premium sandstone. Blocks may display variations in colour, texture, natural faces, edges and surface appearance.
These natural characteristics make B Grade Quad Sawn Sandstone Blocks well suited to projects where a more rustic and varied sandstone appearance is desired.
Four Sawn Sides
Each block is sawn on the top, bottom and both ends. The Quad Saw cutting process helps produce consistent block heights and dimensions, making the blocks easier to stack than random or irregular sandstone.
The front and rear faces retain the natural appearance of the sandstone from the quarry. The appearance of these faces will vary between individual blocks.
The sandstone is cut directly from the quarry floor using our Quad Saw
cutting process. This produces blocks with four sawn sides while
retaining the natural character of the exposed sandstone faces.
As B Grade sandstone is a natural quarry product, individual blocks may include greater variation in colour, texture, surface finish and natural face appearance.
Natural Sandstone Character
B Grade Quad Sawn Sandstone Blocks are supplied with the natural colour and texture available from the quarry at the time of loading.
Colour variation, quarry markings, natural surface variation and minor imperfections should be expected. These features contribute to the natural and rustic appearance of a completed sandstone wall.
Blocks are supplied as quarry-run colour. This means the colours available at the time your order is loaded are the colours that will be supplied.

Natural Block Faces
Our Quad Sawn Sandstone Blocks are cut directly from the quarry floor rather than being hammer-split. The top, bottom and ends are sawn, while the exposed front and rear faces retain their natural sandstone appearance.
The natural faces of B Grade blocks may vary in texture, shape and appearance. Some blocks may have a profiled face while others may have two natural faces.
We generally recommend installing the blocks with the most suitable natural face visible.
